The NPD division gives AND an unrivalled competitive advantage. We are continually innovating to deliver relative content in user-friendly formats in areas of strategic interest to the business.

Our activities include:

• Building and testing new consumer propositions and commercial models through the launch of websites such as www.lastingtribute.co.uk and www.biggreenswitch.co.uk
• Maximising traffic to new products via the existing network and building expertise in search engine optimisation
• Experimenting with new distribution and marketing channels such as Facebook and Second Life
• New aggregation models
• Mapping

Our current key project - LastingTribute.co.uk - a place for people to share their memories and celebrate the lives of people no longer with us - is already receiving almost two million page views a month and since launching in the summer of 2007:

• traffic has increased to more than 250,000 visits per month
• almost one million tribute pages are already on the site, with more than 450 new tributes, images and messages added per week
• more than 1,200 featured tributes have been published on the site
• Google has indexed almost 500,000 pages and given the site a ranking of 6
